Nature's beauty inspires almost every designer, painter, and architect. There is a never-ending supply of ideas, forms, colors, and textures. I constantly draw inspiration from my surroundings.
Sometimes seeing nature through the perspective of various artists expands my thinking and reveals surprising sides of things I already know.
For example, Georgia O'Keeffe's floral paintings immersed me in a never-unseen world of these plants. I discovered an interpretation for myself in her magnificent flower paintings, which I was interested in passing on via my shoe designs.
Through her amazing flower drawings, I found an interpretation for myself that I wanted to pass forward through my shoe designs.
It was very important for me to create shoes with such a volume and shape, where the foot would be framed by their light essence.
