Blossom Design & Vision
These shoes, which are neither pumps nor boots, are made entirely by hand using veg-tanned leather, and they have a symmetrical and sculptural look. The design's purpose was to highlight the true beauty and charm of a woman's feet. The strong and sturdy leather parts that wrap the soft components of the shoe, providing adequate support to the entire footwear, contrast sharply with the softness of the 3D leather elements on the outside of the shoe.
This contrast serves to accentuate the duality of a woman's nature, that of being both assertive and gentle.
The aim was to preserve and sustain the traditional art of shoe making while utilizing the innovative techniques of Sveta Kletina, who was able to create 3D models without relying on 3D software. Her unique method enables the use of leather as a malleable material, allowing for the creation of sculptural shoe designs that are both elegant and functional.
